Visual Communication Design and Marketing Minors
My education has allowed me to explore communication from multiple perspectives. My PR and Advertising coursework has strengthened my ability to think strategically and communicate effectively, while my design and marketing studies have helped me understand how visuals, audiences, and business goals come together.
I’ve especially enjoyed projects involving campaign development, social media strategy, branding, visual communication, audience research, and creative problem-solving.

As a PR student intern, I’ve had the opportunity to contribute to the Center’s communications and digital presence. I’ve worked on social media content, event promotion, campaigns, and initiatives focused on civility, civic engagement, and meaningful conversation.
Summer Intern — 2023-2026
Turner Surety and Insurance Brokerage | Shelton, CT
I’ve spent four summers working in the construction insurance industry for TSIB. I gained experience in a professional corporate environment in the Affiliated Business department while organizing insurance policies, managing files, and assisting the Risk Management team with marketing materials.
